It is very easy to become so involved in your work that the rest of the world goes unnoticed. When this happens it is as if the computer screen is sucking you in as you hunch over the keyboard; good poised posture disappears to be replaced with excessive tension as the body is forced to contort into unnatural and imbalanced positions. Pressure at work and deadlines conspire to make the situation worse.
Learning to become aware of your whole being, whilst engaged in everyday repetative tasks, frees the excessive tension characteristic of RSI and puts you back in control.
After a few lessons a site visit to your workstation can be booked to make sure the monitor, keyboard, desk and chair are arranged in a satisfactory way for you to continue to improve your general use.
