Medical evidence for Alexander Technique

In 2008, the results of a major randomised and controlled trial involving over 500 patients with chronic back pain was published in the British Medical Journal. It proved that one-to-one lessons in the Alexander Technique significantly reduced back pain as compared with massage, exercise and standard GP care. The days in pain were significantly reduced and mobility and functioning increased.

When an investigation comes to be made, it will be found that every single thing we are doing in the work is exactly what is being done in Nature, where the conditions are right, the difference being that we are learning to do it consciously.
